Fix#3011. Some properties for Trendlines were omitted in the original request for this feature. Also, the trendlines sample spreadsheet included two charts. The rendering script 35_Chart_render handles this, but overlays the first output file with the second. It is changed to produce files with different names.
* Charts - Add Support for Date Axis
Fix#2967. Fix#2969 (which had already been fixed prior to opening the issue, but had added urgency for Date Axes). Add ability to set axis type to date axis, in addition to original possiblities of value axis and category axis.
* Update 33_Chart_create_line_dateaxis.php
No idea why php-cs-fixer is complaining. It didn't do so when I first uploaded. I can't duplicate problem on my own system. Not enough detail in error message for me to act. Grasping at straws, I have moved the function definition (which is the only use of braces in the entire script) from the end of the script to the beginning.
* Update 33_Chart_create_line_dateaxis.php
Some comments were mis-aligned. This may be related to the reasons behind PR #3025, which didn't take care of this because this script had not yet been merged.
Fix#2257. Fix#2929. Fix#2935 (probably in a way that will not satisfy the requester). 2257 and 2929 requested changes that ultimately affect the same section of code, so it's appropriate to deal with them together. 2257 requests the ability to make the chart background transparent (so that the Excel gridlines are visible beneath the chart), and the ability to hide an Axis. 2929 requests the ability to set a gradient background on the chart.
Fix#2705. Add to Axis class, Reader Xlsx Chart, and Writer Xlsx Chart. Add feature to an existing 32* sample, to an existing 33* sample, and a formal unit test.
This was supposed to be mopping up some longstanding chart issues. But one of the sample files exposed a memory leak in Xlsx Writer, unrelated to charts. Since that is my best sample file for this problem, I would like to fix both problems at the same time.
Xlsx Writer for Worksheets calls getRowDimension for all rows on the sheet. As it happens, the sample file had data in the last rows after a huge gap of rows without any data. It correctly did not write anything for the unused rows. However, the call to getRowDimension actually creates a new RowDimension object if it doesn't already exist, and so it wound up creating over a million totally unneeded objects. This caused it to run out of memory when I tried to make a copy of the 8K input file. The logic is changed to call getRowDimension if and only if (there is data in the row or the RowDimension object already exists). It still has to loop through a million rows, but it no longer allocates the unneeded storage.
As for the Chart problems - fix#1797. This is where the file that caused the memory leak originated. Many of its problems were already resolved by the earlier large set of changes to Charts. However, there were a few new properties that needed to be added to Layout to make things complete - numberFormat code and source-linked, and dLblPos (position for labels); and autoTitleDeleted needs to be added to Charts.
Also fix#2077, by allowing the format to be specified in the Layout rather than the DataSeriesValues constructor.
* Move Gridlines from Chart to Axis
This could, I hope, be my last major change to Chart for a while. When I first noticed this problem, I thought it would be a breaking change. However, although this change establishes some deprecations, I don't think it breaks anything. Major and minor gridlines had only been settable by the Chart constructor. This PR moves them where they belong, to Axis (eexisting Chart constructor code will still work). This allows them to be specified from both X and Y axis.
Chart is now entirely covered except for 2 statements, one deprecated and one that I just can't figure out. 99.71% for Charts, 88.96% overall. All references to the Chart directory in Phpstan baseline are eliminated.

Line style color type should default to null not prstClr.
Chart X-axis and Y-axis should alway be Axis, never null.

* Charts Additional Support for Layout and DataSeriesValues
The dLbls tag in more or less the Xml equivalent of the Layout class. It is currently read and written only for the Chart as a whole. It can, however, also be applied to DataSeriesValues. Further it has properties which are currently ignored, namely label fill, border, and font colors. All of these omissions are handled by this PR. There are other properties which can be applied to the labels, but, for now, only the 3 colors are added.
DataSeriesValues can have effects (like glow). Since DSV now descends from Properties, these are already supported, but support needs to be added to the Reader and Writer to handle them. This PR adds the support.

Fix#2863. DataSeriesValues now extends Properties, allowing it to share code in common with Axis and Gridlines. This causes some minor breakages; in particular line width is now initialized to null instead of Excel's default value, and is specified in points, as the user would expect from Excel, rather than the value stored in Xml.
This change:
- adds support for 1 or 2 marker colors.
- adds support for `smoothLine` to DataSeriesValues.
- will determine `catAx` or `valAx` for Axis based on what is read from the Xml when available, rather than guessing based on format. (Another minor break.)
- reads `formatCode` and `sourceLinked` for Axis.
- correct 2 uses of `$plotSeriesRef` to `$plotSeriesIndex` in Writer/Xlsx/Chart.
- pushes coverage over 90% for Chart (88.70% overall).

For Pie Charts, fill color is stored in XML as part of dPt node, which had been ignored by Reader/Xlsx/Chart. Add support for it, including when specified as schemeClr or prstClr rather than srgbClr. Add support for prstClr in other cases where schemeClr is supported.

Continuing the work from #2828, #2841, #2846, and #2852. This is probably my last change in this area for a while.
Bubble charts can have bubbles of different sizes. Phpspreadsheet had not supported this. Openpyxl comes with sample code to generate such a chart. I was especially drawn to that solution because its namespace usage would have been unexpected before 2852. And it turned out to come with other surprises - use of absolute paths in the .rels files (PhpSpreadsheet expected only relative), use of a one-cell anchor to place the chart (PhpSpreadsheet expected two-cell anchor or absolute positioning), plaintext in the legend (Phpspreadsheet expected RichText), no cached values for chart data. Excel handles the file okay, and this PR makes sure PhpSpreadsheet does as well. This file is now Samples/Templates/32readwriteBubbleChart2, and is used for both generating a sample output file and in formal tests. A new sample in the 33* series demonstrates how to code these.
* More Chart Fixes
Taking up where #2828 left off. Most of the following changes are demonstrated in 32readwriteChartWithImages1:
- Adds support for "scheme" colors (because rgb, theme, and index colors just weren't enough for Excel) for DataSeriesValues. See issue #2299.
- For chart titles (including axis labels), rather than a font name, Excel supplies a 3-fold series of font names for Latin, East Asian, and Complex Scripts. New properties `latin`, `eastAsian`, and `complexScript` are added to the Font class. I frankly have no idea how, or even if, you can set these in Excel; my test case (sample 32readwriteScatterChart7) is a result of manually editing the XML.
- Add support for subscript/superscript to chart titles. This requires a new property `baseLine` in Font (positive=superscript negative=subscript baseline value says how high/low).
- Support for underscore with different scheme color than its text, using a new string property `uSchemeClr` in Font.
- Support for extra options for strikethrough, using a new string property `strikeType` in Font.
- Support for extra options for underscore type, using the existing string property `underline` in Font.
- I do not anticipate that any of the new Font properties will be used except for chart titles.
- If no default font overrides are found for a Rich Text element in chart titles, and no explicit font overrides are found for a Run under such an element, the font element of the Run is set to null.
- PhpSpreadsheet will always write a tag `a:pPr` and, underneath that, an empty tag `a:defRPr`, for default font settings for chart titles and axis labels. Combined with the previous bullet item, this will prevent PhpSpreadsheet from inadvertently overriding the Excel defaults (18 point bold Calibri for chart title, 10 point bold Calibri for axis labels).
- Axis labels will now be written to XML in the same manner as chart titles. Among other considerations, this means that they can now have colors. Fix#2700. Supersedes PR #2701. Demonstrated in sample 32readwriteStockChart5.
* Fix Some Chart Corruption
Fix#2817, where @bridgeplayr gives an excellent description of the problem and how it should be solved.
* Fix Bubble Charts
Sample produced corrupt output - see issue #2763. After a lot of research, solution was just re-ordering of parameters in a single function call.
Bubble 3D had not been supported at all. It is now.
Surface Charts remain corrupted.
* Some Fixes for Scatter Charts
Chart issues have been pouring in recently. This is a partial response to issue #2762. It implements "no joins" for scatter charts, as well as having the reader and writer handle "point size", "line width", and "color" for markers. A new boolean property `scatterLines`, with setter and getter, is added to DataSeriesValues to handle joins (default is true which means scatter plot points *are* joined by lines). Some, but not yet all, default font properties for the chart title are handled (color and, surprisingly, font name present challenges).
With these changes, sample 32readwriteScatterChart1.xlsx now looks closer to its source. There are still some differences (x-axis changes), but I think this change is already large enough. I can work on the other problems later.
The code for reading charts has not yet been converted to be namespace aware. Having a tiny island of aware code in a sea of unaware makes no sense to me, so some of the new code is likewise unaware. I hope to be able to get to it eventually, but, among other considerations, it is difficult to generate suitable test cases.
* Add Formal Tests
Essentially the same as the corresponding Samples, but with formal assertions.
* Clean Up Some Code in Reader/Xlsx/Chart
Having added code to support default font attributes as well as element-specific font attributes for chart captions, there was duplicated code between the default and specific sections. I hope that this PR makes the code easier to follow.
* Add Support for Font Name and Color to XLSX Chart Titles
XML layout for these in new files differs from what program was expecting. Not sure if program expectations were wrong, or if this is a change to Excel since initial development.
* Minor Improvement
Handle theoretical case where Chart title has text but no font information.
* Support Bezier Curve and Scaling of X-Axis on Scatter Plot
For Bezier, need to specify `<c:smooth>` tag in addition to already supplied `<c:scatterStyle val="smoothMarker">`
For X-Axis, scatter needs to supply both X and y axis as `<c:valAx>` rather than `<c:catAx>` for X.
Jpgraph does not use namespaces. Neither do the Samples members of this project. As a result, Scrutinizer complains about 13 cases of `use PhpOffice\PhpSpreadsheet\Chart\Legend;`, since this theoretically could cause the use of two different Legend classes in the empty namespace. It suggests using a class alias for Legend, which this PR does in every applicable case. It is a regrettable problem, but it is easy to fix.
* Fill Pattern Start and End Colors
Fix#2441. The Fill constructor sets start color to white and end color to black and the Xlsx writer writes these values to the output file. This appears to be the wrong setting for all 7 LIGHT* pattern types, 2 of the 7 DARK* patterns (DARKGRAY and DARKTRELLIS), and 1 of the 3 GRAY patterns (GRAY0625). When the wrong colors are written at save time, those patterns are not as expected. Xls writer does not appear to have the same problem.
The XML does not require either a start or end color, and the omission of these colors in the file being read was responsible for the problem. The code is changed to mimic that behavior by omitting the color tags at write time if they have not changed from when they were created by the Fill constructor (they will be written for gradient or solid patterns regardless).
This is another change which is easier to confirm via samples rather than tests. There are separate samples for Xlsx and Xls; as Excel will be quick to warn you, Xls is not as fully functional as Xlsx with respect to fill patterns. The samples do include a cell where one of the cells (LightGrid in C11) explicitly specifies the "default" colors.

It somehow ascribed to me a problem in code which was unchanged by this PR. Correct it anyhow, along with some Phpstan fixes (errors now ignored because of change).

* Special Characters in Image File Name
Fix#2415. Fix#1470. If path name of image contains anything other than ASCII, or if it contains # or space or probably other exceptions, PhpSpreadsheet creates a file that Excel cannot, for whatever reason, read (it is valid xml). When adding an image to a spreadsheet, Excel does not retain the original path name; PhpSpreadsheet does, but probably shouldn't. It is changed to save the image file in the zip as the MD5 hash of the original path name. This produces a file that Excel can read. In addition, it ensures that, if the image is used in multiple places, it is saved in the Excel file only once.
Because this error becomes evident only when opening the file in Excel, it is difficult to write a test case. I have instead duplicated sample Basic/05... using image files whose names match the reported error conditions.
* Scrutinizer Minor Error
Remove some newly dead code.
* Document Properties - Coverage and 32-bit-safe Timestamps
While researching an issue, I noticed that coverage of Document/Properties was poor. Further, the use of int timestamps will eventually lead to problems for 32-bit PHP (see issue #1826).
Coverage Changes:
- Many property types with no special handling are enumerated but not tested. These are removed, but will continue to function as before.
- Existing code theoretically allows property to be set to an object, but there is no means to read or write such a property, and, even if there were, I don't believe Excel supports it. Setting a property to an object will now be changed to a no-op (can throw an exception if preferred).
- Since the Properties object now has no members which are themselves objects, there is no need for a deep clone. The untested __clone method is removed.
- Large switch statements are replaced with associative arrays. Scrutinizer will like that.
- Coverage is now 100%.

Timestamp Changes:
- Timestamps will be stored as int if possible, or float if not. This is, or will soon be, needed for 32-bit systems. Tests have been added for beyond-epoch dates, and run successfully with 32-bit.
- LibreOffice doesn't quite get the Created/Modified properties correct. These are written to the file as a string which includes offset from UTC, but LibreOffice ignores the offset portion when displaying them. Code had been generating these in UTC, but now generates them in default timezone, which should meet user's expectations.

Other Changes:
- Custom properties added to ODS Writer.
- Samples had not been generating any ODS files. One is now generated.
- Ods uses a single 'keywords' property rather than multiple 'keyword' properties.
- Breaking change - default company is changed to null string from Microsoft Corporation.
- Breaking change of sorts - PropertiesTest incorrectly tested a custom date property against a string, Reader/XlsxTest correctly tested against a timestamp converted to a string. PropertiesTest was defective, and will no longer work as coded; anyone using it as a model will likewise have a problem.
- PHP8.1 has been complaining for weeks about a time zone conversion test. I have now downloaded a version, and changed the code so that it will work in 8.1 as well as prior releases. (It is still likely that the existing code should work in 8.1, but I haven't yet figured out how to file a bug report.) In the course of testing, 3 additional 8.1 problems were reported (all along the lines of "can't pass null to strpos"), and are fixed with null coercion.
- Two Calculation tests failed because of large results on 32-bit system. These are corrected by allowing the functions involved to return float|int rather than int. I suspect that there are other functions with this problem, and will investigate as a follow-up activity.
- See issue #2090. I believe that changes between 17.1 and master will merely cause the problematic spreadsheet to fail in a different way. I believe that enclosing in quotes some variables passed to Document/Properties by Reader/Xlsx will eliminate the problem, but, in the absence of an example file, cannot say for sure.
- Properties tests are now separated out from Reader/XlsxTest and Reader/OdsTest, and now test both Read and Write (via reload).

scope of the original PR, but I said I would get to it.
This PR replaces all uses of literal -165, and appropriate uses of
literal 255, with the named constants, and adds tests to make sure
that the changed code is covered in the test suite.
* Improving Coverage for Excel2003 XML Reader
Reader/Xml is now 100% covered.
File templates/Excel2003XMLTest.xml, used in some tests, is *not*
readable by a current version of Excel. I have substituted a new file
excel2003.xml to be used in its place. I have not deleted the original
in case someone in future (possibly me) wants to see what it needs to
make it usable.
There are minimal code changes.
- Unused protected functions pixel2WidthUnits and widthUnits2Pixel
are deleted.
- One regex looking to convert hex characters is changed from a-z to a-f,
and made case insensitive.
- No calculation performed for "error" cell (previously calculation
was attempted and threw exception).
- Empty relative row/cell is now handled correctly.
- Style applied to empty cell when appropriate.
- Support added for textRotation.
- Support added for border styles.
- Support added for diagonal borders.
- Support added for superscript and subscript.
- Support added for fill patterns.
In theory, encodings other than UTF-8 were supported.
In fact, I was unable to get SecurityScanner to pass *any* xml which is
not UTF-8. Eliminating the assumption that strings might not be UTF-8
allowed much of the code to be greatly simplified.
After that, I added some code that would permit the use of
some ASCII-compatible encodings (there is a test of ISO-8859-1).
It would be more difficult to handle other encodings (such as UTF-16).
I am not convinced that even the ISO-8859 effort is worth it,
but am willing to investigate either expanding or eliminating
non-UTF8 support.
I added a number of tests, creating an Xml directory, and moving
XmlTest to that directory.
Pull Request had problems reading old invalid sample in the code
coverage phase, not in any of the other test phases, and not in
the code coverage phase on my local machine.
As it turns out, aside from being invalid, the sample
is much larger than any of the other samples. Tests have been
adjusted accordingly.
* Smaller Test File
Should eliminate need to avoid test during xml coverage.
* Break Up Style Test into Multiple Tests

* Integrate AddressHelper Change
The introduction of AddressHelper introduced a conflict which needed to
be resolved. I wanted to test it locally before resolving. This required
me to add (unchanged) AddressHelper to my local copy. I hope this is
an okay manner of resolving the conflict.
* Weird Travis Error
XmlOddTest works just fine on my local machine, but Travis failed it.
Even worse, the lines which Travis flags don't even make any sense
(one was the empty line between two methods!).
This test is not essential to the rest of the change. I am removing
it from the package, and will attempt to re-add it when I have a chance
to sync up my fork with the main project.
* Improve Coverage for Sylk
I believe that both BaseReader and Sylk Reader are now 100% covered.
Documentation available for this format is sparse.
It was always incomplete, and in some cases inaccurate.
My goal was to use PhpSpreadsheet to load the test file,
save it as Xlsx, and visually compare the two, then add a test
loaded with assertions. Cell values and calculated values,
and border styles were generally handled pretty well without changes.
Other types of styling were not handled so well. I added a few cells
to exercise some previously uncovered code.
Sylk files must be ASCII. I have deprecated the use of the
setEncoding and getEncoding functions, which had no test cases.
* Improve Coverage for Gnumeric
I believe that both BaseReader and Gnumeric Reader are now 100% covered.
My goal was to use PhpSpreadsheet to load the test file,
save it as Xlsx, and visually compare the two, then add a test
loaded with assertions. Results were generally pretty good,
but there were no tests with assertions. I added a few cells
to exercise some previously uncovered code. Code was extensively
refactored; logic changes are noted below.
Code allowed for specifying document properties in an old format.
I considered removing that, but I found the original spec at

This allowed me to create an old file, which was not handled
correctly because of namespace differences. The code was corrected

One assertion failed under PHP7.2. Apparently there was some change in
the handling of SimpleXMLElement between 7.2 and 7.3. Casting to string
before use eliminates the problem.

Array keys used for styling have been standardized for a more coherent experience.
It now uses the same wording and casing as the getter and setter methods.

This introduce a helper class that should be used to log things,
avoiding a lot of boilerplate code.
Also all output are made in /tmp folder instead of beside the script
itself. This is because there is a high chance that the folder containing
the script is not writtable by webserver. So using the /tmp folder
makes it more likely to works in a variety of setup.
